MEET GLENN LEFEBVRE
My family has multi-generational roots in both Boundary and Bonner County. My father Isidore Lefebvre was born and raised in Bonners Ferry with his five siblings. He met Judy Ressler, from Spokane WA, at North Idaho College, where they were both attending. They were married and moved to Alaska where my father worked as a Fish & Game State Patrol. My parents moved to Sandpoint in 1966, the year I was born. I am a proud graduate of SHS class of 84. I studied communications, which led to years on the air with KPND. I have worked in the service industry here locally for decades; Sears, Jalapenos, the 219. I am currently head of the fishing department at North 40, which is a perfect fit for my love of fishing, wildlife, and the vast outdoors of Bonner County.

I am compelled to run for commissioner because I care deeply about this county and preserving its unique history, which is grounded in agriculture, timber, hunting & fishing, outdoor recreation, family values, and hard-working people.
The last several years have been difficult for our community with the burdens of unprecedented growth. The current Board of County Commissions (BOCC) is tumultuous at best and does not give the citizens confidence that they can manage this growth and prevent costly consequences. I know I can restore positive working relationships. I get along well with anyone and will recognize and respect differing opinions. I am committed to listening to the citizens, studying the issues, finding creative solutions, and establishing trust.
